Hello,
on my system(W7) I installed DX9(2010) and System Shock 2.4. Can I now install Bioshock with the latest DirectX and run System Shock 2 anyway?
Thank you!

Why not?

Because I think I need a DirectX 2010, and not the current?

yeah, I've finally got SS2 over Steam and back on forums. What mods work best for SS2 Steam version?
I heard of tacticool, rocketman, ss2 400, hi-res player models, vurt's, etc... Just looking for better models of everything lol and a hi-res world. Been a long ass time since playing -forgot how damn hard OSA is.

Believe it or not, I'm trying SS2 for the first time now. I couldn't get it running before, but with the Steam version and this patch, the game actually starts without crashing.
But I seem to be having problems with performance. I know the game runs on the same Dark Engine as Thief, and the last time I had performance issues with Thief was when I had a 350Mhz Pentium. The framerate in SS2 2.4 is choppy.
