I tried that, but so far have had no luck. Can I just type C:\Program files\etc etc\DarkWidescreen.bat in the cmd window? I tried that, but it doesn't like the space in between "program" and "files."
(edit): I read somewhere that i needed to use PROGRA~1 instead of Program Files, so I ran C:\PROGRA~1\Sshock2\widescreen\DarkWidescreen.bat, but it just said "widescreen\WeiDU.exe --nogame widescreen\DarkWidescreen.tp2 The system cannot find the path specified." You need to change your directory to the SS2 folder before running it.
E.g.:

cd "C:\Games\System Shock 2"
DarkWidescreen.bat
The program should work without being run from the command line, but running it from the command line should let you see any error messages it's producing.

Is there any way to set the monitor Refresh Rate? I have the Vertical Sync on atm, it's annoying to have the monitor switching Hertz going from game to the Main Menu all the time. Or is it possible to set the Main Menu to the same resolution as the game now since you seem to have cracked the Monitor settings?

Edit: nm I found the ddfix by Timeslip, I kept seeing in this thread.

I've just bought System Shock 2, I've patched it to version 2.3 and here's what came up after I tried to apply the widescreen modification (v6r3):

Is that resolution actually supported by your monitor?
Forget that I asked, a short google search tells me it's supported. Very odd, it's the first time I heard that.
Make sure the resolutions in ddfix.ini and cam.cfg are the same.
