No other game in my life has impacted me the way System Shock 2 has. Since it came into my life and blessed me with it's presence, I've played it at least 15 times over the years.
Doom 3, Half life 2, Halo and a couple others I've played more than once through. Nothing however comes close to topping System Shock 2.
Just was curious to see how many times some of my fellow Shock 2 fans have played it through over the years

Probably around 20-25. Same for Thief 1 and 2 really.

Too many to be able to count. Still, less than half the times I've played the original System Shock.

Well over a dozen times here. Only played T1 & 2 and SS1 through once each, though.

3-4 times. But it was very meaningful.
I also rarely actually finish games, so that's something.

I would guess that I've completed the game a dozen times but that's a very rough estimate. Number of games I've started on the other hand...
As for SS1, I've only completed it twice but that was twice back to back.

I've played ss1 more than I've played ss2 because i think it has more replay value. It must be the intricately deco'd levels and the sheer size of them that keeps it fresh each time through. I tend not to play a game ad nauseum though so i take breaks in between. I the case of ss2, my last break was several years.

I play it once every year (I'm so sad!) so probably over 10 times. The first 2 times were the most meaningful but the magic is still there when revisiting. The really sad thing is that I've only played the original maybe twice and completed it just the once :o

Lost count of exactly how many times I played SS2 around the 10th time, so my guess is probably about 15. Still haven't done a play-through without using cyber upgrades, so that may have to be my next endeavor seeing as how no games are coming out that even remotely interest me anymore.

Two run-throughs right after SS2 came out.
I think my first run-through took me 16 hours.
Then I had a long break until last year I think
and I haven´t been able to reach the end yet...so
I guess just two times.
