Saw this on Blue's News:
System Shock fans, we’ve got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that ‘Mark Valentine’ has released his assets for the Source Engine remake of System Shock 2. The bad news is that Valentine has stopped working on this port, meaning that this project is – more or less – cancelled. Fortunately, Valentine claimed that people are welcome to continue working on it, and that he’ll help with this project’s development if that ever happens.
As Valentine said:
“I’m releasing all my assets because I hate it when people make something cool and they just sit on their assets and all that work is lost forever. I refuse to do that. So here’s all the map files, all the models and textures I had converted, some basic instructions for the pipeline I was using.”
Those interested can download System Shock 2′s Source assets from here.
Valentine has also released a video that can be viewed below.
Enjoy, and let’s hope that other people will continue and finish this Source port!

I'm just downloading this.
Please tell me if I can help anyhow with programming or graphicsprogramming?

Yeesh, the video is just him talking over basically a still frame. Anyway, with NewDark out, pretty much the only significant thing a Source Engine port would bring to SS2 would be ragdoll physics, and perhaps a less jaggy-looking Body of the Many.
