I have a few quick questions if someone could please answer them I would be most grateful.
1.What is the best walkthrough
2.What is the best type of character for a beginner.

1. No walkthrough. There's only one point in the game where people get stuck and it's because they don't realize there are two shuttle bays. Don't ruin your first playthrough of a magnificent game by being a gamefaqs whore.
2. Probably Marine if you want simple and easy. Navy has more fun though. Probably should avoid OSA for now.

I've found Navy to be the easiest, actually. And yes, don't use a walkthrough.

Don't wanna revive a dead thread but didn't wanna start a new one for a similar question.Well I just beat system shock 1 for the first time and so I am starting system shock 2 I was wonder several questions
1.Is there any differences in the game in the different difficulties like thief or goldeneye and perfect dark.
2.I choose navy and for my three tours of duty I choose 1+ hack and 1+ strength,+1 maintenance and 1 maintenance tool, for year 3 I chose the antigrav training. Is this good or is their a better build for beginners and what skills should I pursue throughout the game and with those first eight cyber modules.
I will be grateful for any help rendered.

The higher difficulties will change your hitpoints, damage, enemy strength and things like that. Basic gameplay and the story are still the same, though.
One important thing to understand is that on Easy, the QBRMs you'll find are free. On all other difficulty levels, they cost 10 nanites per resurrection.

That build is fine. Navy characters are tech heads, so you should focus on upping your technical and standard weapon skills. Don't forget about increasing your strength and endurance, either.
Really, though, make your own decisions. SS2 is all about making choices and accepting the consequences. It's no fun if you keep getting others to make your choices for you. Build your character the way you want. That's what it's all about.
I will be grateful for any help rendered.
