I'm encountering problems with playing System Shock 2. The game will run for awhile, maybe 10 or 15 minutes, then at random intervals, the game will ock up. I've set every compatibility, I've set the affinity properly (Have a dual CPU Sony Vaio),a nd the game still crashes. I wouldn't post this if I hadn't already tried everything in the technical help thread (I know how that works, gets annoying with repeated threads)

Have you tried DDFix?
What is your computer full specs?

Sony VAIO, Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz, 1 GB of RAM.
Running Windows XP Home Edition on Service Pack 2.
VISIONTEK Xtasy RADEON 9550 graphics card.
I need to play ignorant on this DDfix thing. Where is it and how is it installed?
