OK, so half of me is really against this. Actually, let's go with 75% of me is really against this, but Bioshock 1 is next up after Crysis 3. I don't like doing this, but what with Bioshock Infinite being released this week, I can hardly think of a better time to do it. I don't like doing this because SS2 and B1 are essentially the same game, and are made by the same developer, and hell, even the titles are virtually the same. But like I said, I wanted to do it eventually and I can hardly think of a better time to do it. Crysis 3 will be ending at part 16, so Bioshock will start on on April 10th (assuming all goes to schedule).

Bioshock and System Shock 2 are, in my experience, only similar on paper if you put them into pure words, as soon as you dive into the little details things are different. Bioshock has no inventory system, has a much more simplified loot system, hacking is different (arguably less annoying than in SS2), Bioshock has an even more obnoxious enemy respawn rate than most of SS2's areas, guns don't degrade, the vita chambers let you die for free (SS2 only allows that on Easy, iirc), etc.
So I will actually be interested to watch your LP, it has been a good 5+ years since I did my only runthrough of Bioshock. If they were essentially the same game I should have liked BS a lot more than I did, but alas I didn't quite connect to it.

YES! 2 and a half hours of file digging and User.ini editing later, I finally set up Bioshock to play at an FOV that doesn't give me a headache! (95 FOV) Also, for those interested, everything records perfectly fine at 60 FPS on max graphics and I've got audio at an optimal setting as well. Also don't worry, I've only barely gone down into Rapture. Maybe like 5-10 min into the game just to make sure it plays properly.

Ok, so it may be 11:35 pm, but I technically stuck to schedule. This is surely not because I thought it was Tuesday instead of Wednesday, but it's certainly convenient that that's the case. But still, here you go!
*cough* That big white thing in your inventory with the red cross on it? That's a medkit. Restores you to full health.

The reconstruction machine is kinda far away from the elevator. The level is like a giant circle with some side-paths. Instead of breaking the window and going down, continue along the corridor, past the Xerxes column and into the next set of rooms. You should see a ladder on the wall, up there is the machine.
Also, you can easily deal with those turrets and camera if you hack security first...
