Hacking the security station in the little room with the monkey is a bitch if you don't have high hack and CYB though. I guess he'd be throwing nanites at it for a while.

Heh. As you've discovered, neither disabled security nor activated resurrection machines carry across bulkheads (map loads). Whenever you enter a new map you're vulnerable to actual death until that QBR is located and activated.
Also, maintenance is way more useful with repair, because with maintenance you can stop your guns from breaking in the first place. But with neither maint nor repair, it's a really good idea to carry more than just one pistol. That way you have a spare when one breaks.
Oh, and whenever you cross a map transition, an autosave is made at that point. It's the very bottom slot on the load screen.

Sy, I must say, your ability to not search the body right in front of the security booth that has the access card to it, is nothing short of impressive. Especially considering you actually played through this section twice.
Keep up the good work, but I will be smashing my palm against my forehead at full force if you walk past that security booth unopened the third time. :p

that specific body seems to be easy to miss, for some odd reason - it's not the first time I've seen this happen.

Well I think it's because player tunnel vision after having been killed by those turrets upteen times. That's exactly what happned to me. :P
