Those halts are to do with server switching, I vaguely remember being told, and are definitely pretty variable. There also seems to be a thing where it's not sure if it served you an ad and so stops and gets stuck trying to. That's not really applicable in this case of course.

I've not really had any trouble with the segmenting as far as ripping goes. The main problem is the rippers themselves are mostly shitty adware.
In general switching resolutions works fine and if you go fullscreen it changes with barely a hiccup after a couple of seconds. Although this seems to go a lot better in partner channels for some strange reason...hmmmmm.

Some of the videos I'm talking about in this set are working in high res now. So I guess it was just taking its sweet time rendering for a couple of days there, or it got confused somewhere.
