Fair enough. I'll file that one away under my "Syy's A Dumbass" subsection. XD

There are only two ways to get rid of the frame blending--
1. Record at 30FPS (recording at a higher FPS than you'll be exporting at doesn't make any sense)
2. Discard alternate frames when doing frame rate conversion (instead of blending/interpolating/whatever your video editor calls it)

1: Well obviously. But SS doesn't have an V Sync option, and I tell FRAPS to record in 30 FPS, but it records in 60 regardless.
2: I'll look into that tonight when I render SS and Bioshock.

OK, so Part 40 still has the blended frames sadly, but re-reading what you said, I had an idea that I'm 99% sure will fix it. It's one of those "why didn't I think of this before?" kinda things. I'll try it out in Part 41. And speaking of part 40...

SS2 does have a vsync option. Look inside the cam_ext.cfg file to enable it.
FRAPS shouldn't be ignoring your requested record frame rate. Something wrong there.

I'm kinda wincing in anticipation of how the next bit is going to go. I like that blaster cycling trick. Somehow I've never seen that before.
I noticed there's no quality difference between 480 and 720 on these recent videos. I dunno if that's intentional or youtube regional caching or something. Vids in this series prior to 37 work fine in that regard.
