Okay, I've finally been able to test this Hamachi stuff. Is this it? How on earth is this better than an IRC channel? Why doesn't everyone just hang out in #systemshock and then use Hamachi to get a game going? You know, set up a channel then and there, just for your game.

The advantages are listed in the first post. As for the IRC, that probably would be better to know when to put hamachi on (cant play online on other things as well with it on or at least thats what i get).

I know it helps get the connection going for the game, and helps those people who have restrictive connections, but how did it become a way to find games? It just doesn't work that well.

Heh no idea i'm afraid...I would prefer to use X-fire to organise games though, but thats just the way it is right now.

i still cant get this to run... what am i doing wrong here people? step by step please... its driving me nuts... trying to play a game of systemshock 2 with afriend through hamachi and our computers cant join... join failed is the simple message... help?
