Well, most of those 'lost' CD threads are usually something like "I lost my CD, and therefore I downloaded a warez copy, with which I'm now having problems. Can you help me running my warez copy?". That clearly isn't the case here.

I CANT STAND MY LIFE WITHOUT SYSTEM SHOCK!!!
Your life sucks :thumb:
I say download it. If you bought a copy, then there's no ethical issue.

mmmmmm yea.. just ethical issues  .. yea more than ethical issues i was thinking if there was a way to get around engineering because my net connection is so slow and it'd take ages to download it.. :ebil:

There's no way you can proceed unless you go to Engineering. You either go there, or get stuck in MedSci forever.

What about Zombe's level selector? Wouldn't that work?

Good luck with installing ADaOB. When you get the game working properly again, be sure to post back here with your experiences.
Hearing someone elses thoughts on their first run through is great for bringing back memories of our first run through :)
My advice, make sure you pay attention to everything. Read all logs, etc.
You can also install a few other packs to improve quality of enemies, corpses and generally all other textures. I think it's best to play through the first time as it was meant, then play again with all the eye-candy. Some people feel differently though.
Have you played SS1 as well?
Cheers and good luck :)
