One of those cases where reskin of a pistol is the greatest improvement you can rationally imagine for this game. No blame to Nightdive for they have an artistic sense of taste not to glue the hands to the Venus de Milo. Just show it again in its original beauty.

Honestly, this just looks exactly how my 'normal' SS2 has been looking like for years, with all the improvements that this community has been putting out for years installed. I know that it's only a short trailer, but I can't see much of a difference.

It looks like there is nothing new here, just a Halloween marketing campaign.

That entire video needs a steady-cam.

then you are not using SCP, Fixed Objects, and not even the fixup dmls from the tool. shame on you.
but seriously, this only has Tacticool, SHTUP, and the higher poly AI models, suggesting NewDark assets don't run yet. not great, at this point, I would already expect some basic ND compatibility.

Considering that I don't really care about the multiplayer, coop or whatever, and I don't really care about vr, unless they give out EE for free for everyone who already has the game, I probably won't bother.
But maybe there is more.

Will be curious to see compatibility with other mods. I'd imagine they've ported the game to their in-house wrapper engine, Kex.

You don't have to imagine, that's in fact exactly what they're doing. That's also (probably) why EE is taking so long, because they're having to reverse engineer all the NewDark additions to the engine.
