Okay, forgive me, but I couldn't find a suitable thread to post this in. (And, I did try searching, for some odd reason, I couldn't turn up a thread which seemed to be about SS2 dreams, although I distinctly remember a few. :weird: Anyways, as anyone who was in the 'Introduction + Help I'm All Alone' thread over the last couple days probably knows, I went way too damn long without sleep before finally crashing. When I did . . . :weird:

When the dream started, there was some kind of all out war going on, in the 'real world,' (my hometown, I think, but it didn't look like it) between people who used hypos, and people who didn't. (Anyone remember my redneck game where I gave up using hypos? Methinks that part of the dream came from there.) There was some kind of big corporation who wanted people to keep using hypos, (TriOptimum, maybe?) and then there were a bunch of hippies who wanted to go with natural ways of healing, and wanted to completely ban them. The corporation was going after the hippies, trying to kill them, so they could keep controlling everyone with their hypos.

Confused yet? :laff: Any-hoo, I remember there was a huge fight on a highway with a large U shaped curve in it, the people from the corporation were coming down the hill and around the corner with all sorts of SS2 weapons, assault rifles, fusion cannons, grenade launchers, shotguns, you name it. A few people froze the hippies with the statis field generator, then people started shooting them to death. It wasn't like the hippies had much of a chance, they were all armed with wrenches, and they had nowhere to hide and no QBRM to save them. :joke: I was watching the war from a hill above the center of the corner in the highway with a few friends. It was quite entertaining.

Then, in my dream, I think I have a memory gap, because the next thing I remember, I was at home, packing up to get the hell out of town. The war was going on in my hometown, and now the corporation was spreading out to the outskirts, trying to weed out the last of the hippies. And since I had a wrench hidden in my bedside table, and am phobic of needles, my friends figured they'd think I was one of the hippies, so they were trying to get me out of town.

Then, there was another change of scenery in the dream. I was asleep up in my old bedroom in the attic of my house, and I was woken up by the sound of what sounded like my VCR going into 'standby' mode. (You know, when the heads or whatever they are that read the tape disengage after the VCR hasn't been used in a few minutes?) Besides the fact that there shouldn't have been a VCR in that room, something else was something different. I couldn't put my finger on it, but when I opened my eyes, I saw the SS2 HUD interface superimposed on what I was seeing. I could see I had 10 hitpoints, 6 psi points, so on, so forth. If I shut my eyes, it was like someone was pulling a black curtain over the monitor of my computer, because I couldn't see the interface anymore.

Then, I heard something at the bottom of the stairs, it was one of the 'servants' from T2. I grabbed my wrench out of my bedside table and stumbled off the bed to go see what it was, then I realized I could see a minimap in the upper right hand corner of my vision. I 'opened' the full sized map of my house, (I thought I wanted to see it, and it happened) and could see two little player icons scurrying around on the main floor, but since I was in the attic, they wouldn't see me unless they went upstairs, their minimaps wouldn't show me otherwise. Then, the players started talking, and it was absolutely horrifying. It went something like:

Player 1: OMFG, d1d u see taht?
Player 2: u fraged taht s0n 0f @ b!tch!

THERE WERE N00BS IN MY HOUSE?!

I went running downstairs to exterminate them, then ran face first into the 'servant' from T2, it seemed its flee point was around the corner at the bottom of the stairs leading from the attic, so I couldn't see it right away. I stared at it a moment, and thought, 'hey, this isn't right. That's from T2. Did someone make a SS2 FM with servants in it that I didn't know about?'

Then I woke up, and kinda went . . . :weird::confused: . . . :weird:

I think I spent too much time on the forums last night . . . :joke:

TNT: That's just weird. I had an SS2 dream once. I still remember parts of it. I was in a place that didn't look like any part of the VB or Rick, but it looked like it had been buit with ShockED. Same objects and stuff, you know. My sister was there, too, and I was trying to save both our lives by getting out of there (wherever 'there' was) inone piece. It looked like I was in some sort of ransacked laboratory. There was a Cyborg Assassin hunting my sister and I down (this was before Rebirth, or at least before I installed it, so it was one of the old Assassins). I don't remember anything beyond that. But it was really weird.

Nyehh, lucky. The only dreams I ever had about PCs was when I dream about C++ compilers. I hate nightmares.

Oh, there have been lots. I've had about 3 of them myself.
