I'd not have recognized one hybrid from another myself. :p

I think an item that makes someone take their pistol, put it into their mouth, cock the hammer and fire is a tad more disturbing then someone saying "run". Could just be me, though.

He doesn't put the gun into his mouth and we don't know what scared him like that. Might have been a hybrid saying "Run!" for all we know. :)

So THATS what happens.. :p
Kolya on 5/12/2006 at 03:35
No, what actually happened was that SHODAN made a copy of Goggles while he was in cryo-sleep. She put on her sexy voice and told him she'd wait for him in the dark room on deck 4. Imagine her surprise as she turned on the lights for her little show!
OnionBob, kids, I'm sorry. :(

For a gaming TV, it's amazing they even knew what SS2 is.
Yeah, That's what I thought was so cool about it, I watch the shows from time to time and usually it's mostly just console games, or PC games that are also on console. So even seeing a PC game was kindof weird.
I think they did mention that the ambience/lighting was a big part of the game. Obviously that is the dark engine's best quality.
Still waiting for them to mention top 10 sneak games :D

Oh boohoo ss2 is not really that scary except for the part when 8 hybrids pop out of no where on the command deck.
Bjossi on 1/1/2007 at 23:18
That isn't scary, but it helps to have an AR at that time.

Bah. The shotgun is a more satisfying hybrid killer Ps. Nice explination Kolya

Shock 2 has got to be the scariest of all time.
I would give an honourable mention to Resi Evil 2 when i had my first playthrough of it. Space Hulk on the Amiga also had its moments.
