20 years ago today, on August 11, 1999, System Shock 2 was released. Happy anniversary!

SS1:EE was SS1 in an upgraded engine, so an SS2:EE would be... what they've already been selling on GOG and Steam for the last couple years? I have no idea what they could do to make it even more enhanced than that, short of pre-packaging it with the various community audiovisual mods.

There is absolutely no need to remake System Shock 2. The current 2.48 version is fantastic, and SCP Beta 4 brings it close to total perfection. I genuinely cannot think what could be changed that would be an improvement.

Well that's why Team SCP is on the job.

I assume it would include things like a working multiplayer for starters.
