Infinitron.....you.....you.....you.....you.....you.....
I LOVE YOU!!!!! :D
It works! It actually works! SS1 in beautiful 1024x768! 800x600 works too!
Although, for some reason, the ss1hr.exe won't run anymore.....but the executables that were built off of Mok's patch work beautifully! Thanks to both ToxicFrog and Infinitron for making this happen! :cheeky: :thumb:
W00tness!
[EDIT]I'm getting a bit of screen lag when I turn around.....can this be fixed (playing in 1024x768)?[/EDIT]

Won't run, period?
Or do you mean that the executables modified by it won't run?
You're sure that you're running it against Mok's version and not the original CDSHOCK.EXE?

I tried without success to fix this before releasing the patch. I don't know what causes it, and I can't figure out how to fix it - if you learn anything let me know.
@Infinitron: linked from the first post.

Oh, excellent!
TNT, Enchantermon, Gudadantza - could you test this out and see if it works?
Got a green light over here. :cheeky: Looking great! :thumb:

Excellent, it works! (A little slow at 1024x768, though, but it looks great.)
Great work, ToxicFrog! :thumb:
(And Infinitron for finding the fix!)
Now I wish I could do the same with all my other old DOS games, Daggerfall would be a prime candidate...

Wow, 800x600 is looking and running great for me on my FX5900 Ultra.
Thanks, ToxicFrog! Unbelievable...!

Good.
Now it works to me.
I have used the last program with another games and it works too. GOOD WORK.
Just a little problem but i have not tested much. When I switch the resolution into the game it works, but the mouse is unable to reach the right borders. Im unable to reach the menu buttons, for example. Its like the screen wouldn´t be centered. But the buttons are well placed and centered.
I have not tested it much. perhaps it only occurs when you switches the resolution the first time into the game. I dont Know.
If the sleepy monitor problem :) is solved. I think its only a minor problem. :)
System Shock...the hardest game ever to run under a modern OS :D

Anyone know where I can get a generic program that will speed up mouse movement for non-Microsoft, non-Logitech mice? The game is unplayable at the new resolutions.
