I just want to say that finally i was able to play this amazing game, and finished yesterday, only the authors of the thief series could have done such nice work such as this one, and i never expected i would enjoy more this game than Bioschock 1 or 2, System schock 2 has a well made storyline, a fine gameplay, a beautiful architecture design, and original sounds, it only lacked a bit of music...but apart from that i loved playing this game :thumb:

Glad you enjoyed it. :) It really does do the FPS/RPG and survival thing better than Bioshock. I think it's a little unfair to compare it to Thief, though, as Thief focuses more on survival through sneaking whereas SS2 focuses more on survival through force and a bit of tactics.

Glad to see there are still newcomers. Also, the soundtrack is awesome...

i only mentionet thief seeing that system schock was created by the same authors as System schock 2, right? I recognized some of the voices in this game, such as the one that used his voice for garrett, and also the one with the Xerxes voice is the one that in thief represents the servant.
Has anyone of you played any extra missions for this game? i was wonder if i should give a try to them, i know that one of the authors is Christine Schneider, i lover her Thief missions and i was curious about her contributions for System Schock, hey maybe i´ll get the idea of doing a mission for this game since i can handle with Dromed :D.

I see. Stephen Russell, the voice actor of Garrett in Thief, plays both Diego and Xerxes in SS2. I don't know if he played a servant in Thief (though he probably did) but I do know he did at least one set of Hammerite voices as well as Benny the Guard.

Christine's missions are absolutely wonderful, so you should definitely give them a shot, as well as the rest of the FMs. Just make sure you play Christine's in order; they're labelled FM1-FM4 on (

Thanks Enchantermon , So Stephen Russel is the one that acts as Xerxes as well? and also Benny? :laff: Damm i never would have thought, he´s got a nice talent in creating different voices, i know that in order to be hired as voice actor you must know at least to do 5 or 6 different voices. i got to check the voice actors credits list in the thief manual :D
Alright i will play the system schock 2 fms, good thing they can be installed with garrettloader ;)

Yup. It is quite funny when you think about it. He did a really good job. If you've seen the (

You could also install the FMs using the (

.
It was created by Irrational Games. They shared an office with Looking Glass Studios at the time, as well as the engine Tech and clearly some staff...but it was more of a cooperative venture...not a full out LGS game.
