Okay, so I've just noticed my system running hotter than usual recently, for no apparent reason. Just doing something simple like typing this and the CPU is at 34 degrees c, and the system temp is 42 degrees c.
A few weeks ago, the system CPU would be running around 28 degrees c and the system temp would be around 24 degrees c, even when running games such as AOE3.
Is this a sign of a failure in the cooling system somewhere? Is there any potential damage risk? Or is something like this normal?
I'd just like to add I thought I heard a strange buzzing a couple of days ago, a really faint buzzing that sounded like something wasn't quite firing on all cylinders, but didn't think much of it.

You might have a build up of dust bunnies in the case and the cpu cooler, pop the case open and get in there with an air duster.. And its normal for your pc to collect dust over time, it wont hurt - just make it run hotter :cheeky:
