hey I checked out your sleepmute stuff, and its great. Not a huge fan of that kind of ambient music, I like a little more harmonic tension, but from an uneducated point of view its very chill, some nice rhodes sounds, which I love.

In the interest of this being a synthesizer thread, here's the gear rundown. The main sound is a sampled Rhodes via a Nord Electro 3 recorded through a Twin Reverb, hence all of the hiss, which I decided to emphasize rather than hide by adding stereo recordings of me fiddling around with an Ebow on a guitar. Minilogue does most of the TNG-style drones and the retro-sounding notes at the end. And Shapeshifter's doing some chords, too, plus the deep bass pluck that appears periodically, which was my attempt to directly rip off a sound Eno uses on (

Just purchased the comp. My daughter has been getting into ambient music, so I played her your track and she said it sounded kinda like Music for Airports, something nice to fall asleep to.

I try to keep something cheap on my Sweetwater card with 0% financing just to keep the account active, and I've spent like 6 months trying to find something I wanted to snag but nothing was interesting me. They decided to do a "keyboard month" (ironically, because this doesn't have a keyboard) and threw this onto their 48-month plan, so what the hell, it's been awhile and I've been jonesing for some new fart sounds.
