I have only just started playing and cannot remeber all the details of this (or names of a lot of ppl for that matter) but if you like sneaking and stealing I have found a nice long sword at the start of the game worth 17K. As soon as you get into Balmora go the watch tower behind the "Blades Recruiters" House and go the the top floor.

Jump onto the top bed and look on the cupboard directly opposite, you have to be on the bed to sneak and steal this at the start of the game or the gaurd will see you and kill you.

I cannot remember the stats off hand but I know that ontop of standard damage it also does 1-10 pts of damage on strike and it has 500pts of charge.

If anyone would like to fill in my blanks plz feel free but I have found this sword to be a lot better than any other magical blade at the start of the game.

Oh, and does anyone know wherre the mass murderer in Vivec is. I have looked all over.
