Ok, i was enjoying a cross country run from balmora to Dragon Fel, and I come across one of those adobe mound looking constructions that have nice items and lots of baddies in them. Of course i ransack the place, starting at the top and working my way down. Turns out it a big "Sixth House" HQ or somthing. Anyway, i slaughter every soul, of course. I found some "dead hero" corpses on the ground floor and picked up this stupid claymore called the "Sword of Fury" or somthing like that, anyway i saw its stats and was disheartend that anyone would make an item that totally destroyed all your armor. i kept it anyway, to sell. I acidentally equipped it when scrolling through my weapons and now all my armor is worthless. All armor classes are now big red 0's. Ive been to Vivec and recieved all the blessings, and replenished all my stats, but the armor thing wont fix itself. any ideas?:tsktsk:

It's a bug. It was fixed in a patch.
Are you on the PC (I suspect not, as you've haven't got the patch...)?
Use the console:
player->setxxxxxxarmor **
Where xxxxxx is the armour type (heavy, medium, light) and ** is the number it was.
On the Xbox? Restore a save. Or work them back up again :( On the bright side, you'll be able to gain a few extra levels...not that that's a compensation.

It is a compensation, that's one of the ways you get uber levels. (master trainers is the other)

I know. But I don't find ubercharacters fun, so I don't view having a few extra levels as a particular bonus. You're invincible by the early 20s anyway.

but your supposed to be Über in the eyes of the people in morrowind, unless your like me and don't beleive in silly prophecies and find sick entertainment in killing everyone who auto greets you.....*ahem*

One other thing, um, how do you increace your fame? im fairly high ranking in at least 3 guilds and ive killed a lot of critters and well, anyone who had a nice house.
RyushiBlade on 20/6/2003 at 01:22
Your reputation? It goes up depending on how many guilds your in, and the rank you are in them. If you beat the mainquest it goes up, and if you do a lot of misc. quests your reputation will go up. Help everyone you can ;)
