It would be nice if the font wasn't so goddamned small. I don't remember where my magnifying glass is and really hate squinting at the monitor.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just copy/pasted it into Word and resized the font.
ANOTHER EDIT: I am liking this story very much. Very nice fanfic.

so increase the font size of your browser so you can read it.
also, bjossi: anyone who's already been subverted doesn't count (except maybe diego.)

Diego somehow managed to cure himself, but then Goggles killed him by playing with the gravitational generator. :p

There are three escape pods unaccounted for which may contain additional survivors. I suspect you see basically all the ship, though there are some areas which are obviously inaccessible/ destroyed.
Wouldn't put money on Goggles being able to get back to earth without help otherwise, considering the amount of maintenance problems the ship had with an entire crew.

Makes me wonder if that was what SHODAN was planning all along. Not only does her avatar help her fight her errant creations, but he also unknowingly kills the only two people who might have seen the truth about her - Bayliss and Diego (for those of you who don't know, First Officer Bayliss is the corpse in the chapel. I assume he was killed by the fall, although the cyborgs may have had something to do with it).

I was under the impression that XERXES ejected the pods to prevent people from using them, although it's possible that there were people on board when that happened. There's also the fact that there are no shuttles in the deck 1 shuttle bay. One of those TriOp cargo shuttles could potentially carry a dozen or more people, although I'm not sure how long they can remain in space.

Yeah, that's what 'Becca said in one of her logs. I never thought of it before, but you're right, there could have been people on them.

I thought Diego had "cured" himself by using the autodoc to cut out the annelid worm, doing massive damaged to his internal organs.
It was a last desperate effort to retain his humaity and help goggles.
He was virtually dead before you even hit the switch.
Bjossi on 23/3/2007 at 13:07
So either he'd die because of reversed gravity or while Goggles in on his way towards him, in other words?
cosmicnut on 23/3/2007 at 13:42
In otherwords, your switching of the gravity didn't help matters but he was already dying from massive organ failure.
imagine cutting out a good chunck of lung, kidney, heart, etc, etc.
How long would you last.......
