(
http://www.sapergalleries.com/Gonsalves.html) Consider me blown away!
I love exactly this kind of art. The sort of thing that sideswipes you. It's not trying to be so needlessly surreal that reality looks like a fried egg on a landscape of geometry a la Dali, neither be it headscratchingly repetitive, like stairways inverting into ladders turning on their sides into railway tracks, but whatever.
I love this stuff. The myriad use of reflections and subtle plays that are made from the mirror images are just perfect. Also the merging of textures and materials is done in a way that I find... oddly moving. I suppose something about these images strikes a chord with the youthful mind that tumbles free and full of adventure, bursting with imagination, oddities and simple absurdities.

Oddly, the escalator one doesn't do anything for me. It looks wrong, perspectives seem shoddy and the whole image doesn't work. I love the Wrigley Field shot though, that's damn near perfect.

Love the escalator shot.. Starfall's would be nice if it DIDN'T have the perspective error.
And Scots' could very well be illustrations of dreams I've had. Some of them are wonderful, though I wish I could see larger versions.

The art on the referred Web site reminds me of the paintings by (
http://www.visionsfineart.com/kush/aa_index.html) another artist. Pretty cool stuff.
His main Web site is down for some reason, but it's "vladimirkush.com." I'm not much of an artsy type, but I remembered him because of his name. :)

Mmm, that thing going into her is -- oh yeah, and that thing coming out of her... fuck yeah...

"Her"? I had impression it's a neuter creature.
Ok, interpretations of art are different.
