Hi Editorguys,
i have a little problem with the Thief3Ed.
I try to align the textures with 'Surace Properties', but when i hit the name in the window, nothing happens...
First few Hours it worked fine but now it doesn't...
I didn't find a solution for this problem in the forums, so please help me :)
Edit: Problem solved

Even if it's something obvious, it's still a good idea to post an answer (even to your own thread) so that a SEARCH later will turn up an answer instead of another frustrated taffer. ;)

Mh... it wasn't really a bug, because the window was somewhere out of my monitor, and i found an edge of it by accident ;)

Argh, that bug annoyed me for months on end, and no matter how many times I fixed it, it always broke again. The surface properties window shouldn't ever go completely offscreen -- if it looks like it disappeared, it ought to notice after a few ticks and move its border at least ten pixels in from the bottom right hand corner, so look for a narrow little strip of title bar.
But in the worst case you can temporarily increase the resolution of your desktop, drag the window someplace reasonable, and take your resolution back down to normal.

Today I had the same problem (thanks for this thread ;)). In the end I found the window hidden behind my MS Office shortcut bar. :p
Maybe this will help somebody else...

That seems like a strange bug. Surely Windows allows you to specify the location of a dialog, so you can insist that it appears centered on screen?

Of course, but T3Ed also doesn't care about the narrower screen border set by the Office shortcut bar. The editor window always uses the full screen width. It just doesn't conform 100% to Windows standards.
