Jesus, dude. Wow. It took you this long to come up with the laziest Nielsen death joke imaginable? And one that was alluded to in the topic title to boot? Ugh, man. Ugh.:weird:

inane reactions to the death of an old man deserve inane replies.

Leslie Neilson was a good actor. His earlier roles were better than the juvenile, contrived and hackkneed antics of The Naked Gun 1 & 2-1/2 and 33-1/3, Airplane etc.
He was OLD. OLD people DIE. A fact of life. If he was a family member then maudlin shock might be a valid response. But many stars of his era are dead and will be dead.
If it was a 20 year old then OMG might be appropriate. But only because they should live until about 84 unless the suicide or die in a accident.
So, yeah. Leslie Neilson died. BFD. So has Sterling Hayden, John Wayne, Ava Garder, the Zaza sisters, many others as well as the directors that made them stars.
Here's another: Blake Edwards: 1922 - 2010
One might say, "I enjoyed his/her career and hope it was quick and painless." But "I can't believe or deal with it." is laughable.
Born:Leslie William Nielsen
February 11, 1926 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Died 2010 at the age of 84.
During that time he starred in a number of movies and had a total of 470 roles in his career, starting in 1950.
But to be upset because he finally died, is inane given his age. We lose stars all the time to age, or in the case of Heath Ledger, Belushi and John Candy at thier own hand.
It happens people. I, at least, will miss performances they may have done that would have pleasured me, but to wax all soppy because they died, is a bit silly.
The only surity you face is birth and death. You, and nobody else, will never get out of life alive.

Strangely enough, Olivia de Havilland is still going strong.
...it seems that for her, tomorrow is indeed another day.
