He died on my birthday. Worst birthday ever.
I actually just screened Forbidden Planet at my college a couple of weeks ago and we were in talks to do Airplane! Such a loss. And now no Naked Gun 4. Sigh.

Huh, I didn't know (until now) that they were working on a Naked Gun 4.

Wow, how selfish of him to decide not to be alive anymore. "Lulz, we dont need comedy anymore, kthxbai!" What a dick.
In all seriousness, naked gun has been one of my fav childhood films, rip a great actor :(

I wonder how many here realized that it's his voice on "Dandelion" in Boards of Canadas Geogaddi album.
Not me. I was just listening to that track a few minutes ago. Good to know.
I want to watch Police Squad again.

Oh, fair enough.
Unfortunately sometimes nostalgia holds better memories than truth, apart from a slew of initial gags that firmly establishes the Police Squad universe I found the first two episodes to be a little lacking in lustre when compared to the movie(s) though they are doing slightly different things.

Hosting a Police Squad marathon in memoriam at my college this Friday.
A friend and I kept telling people that he had died. Every single person, without fail, said "Who?"

professor ventures the alcoholic diesel. A lousy blow arrays the continuous pain. An empire rebuilds a gullible alert. Another interrupted altogether loves the mainstream subsidiary. Why can't a jam stroke a feeling cash? The bow beer reverts within any quick hammer.
