Anybody actually gotten a full master set? I've only ever found 2 pieces.
.
Almost, I have 3 master and 1 expert. Carry them everywhere I go. I have the strength and feathers to spare.
Oh, and on the paralyze potions....
I actually turned the tide of the battle w/the guy ruling "Paradise" by desperately loading up a 7 second paralyze potion. Worked like a charm.
WingedKagouti: My point, which seems to have sailed blissfully over your head, is that welkynd stones are convenient. All you need to do is wander into any of the dozens of Ayleid ruins, grab a few and you're set. Anyone can do this, you don't need to spend ages buffing your alchemy skill (Even at 75, that's going to takes quite a number of hours of playing), gathering/buying ingredients and kit.
As I pointed out earlier, there will be differences between different playing styles. I hardly use any magicka restoring items because my Willpower is high enough to give me ample regeneration. I keep ~ten stones on me at all times just for emergencies and I find them rather useful. If you want to wax lyrical about your homebrewed potions, fine. But not everyone will have a high alchemy skill, whereas anyone can grab a load of welkynd stones.

I don't know which Ayleid ruins you shop at, but I had to fight like hell through all of mine/

Most ruins I go into just have a couple of bandits at the best. It was only in the main quest one that any undead started showing up

Wow, cardel, serious? Hmmm. I have had some STOCKED w/those tougher trolls(forget their exact breed name), or they'll have minotaurs and ogres, or it'll be all undead (skellies, wraiths, and liches). NEVER have I found one w/bandits only. Are you low level?

one other thing..
Has anyone had trouble finding oblivion realms that simply can not be closed?
Last one I found has the sigil tower on top of a large hill, which I can not find a way to climb. There is a path that goes around clockwise, and one tower on a bridge off to the left side.....No portal to the sigil tower, no cave, no nothing.

I THOUGHT I had one that was like that, but in all actuality, it was just a well hidden entrance. I guarantee you are missing something.

Yeah, pretty low. (finished main quest at 14) Also, I havent really been in many, compared to others. About 10, including miscaricand (or whatever it is.)

Took me very, very very long. As of Level 42 i yesterday found the final piece, the Master Alembic. Got the Expert set relatively quick tho.
I have a single Expert Calcinator. Everything else is Journeyman. I look everywhere for Expert pieces but never any luck. Is it your opinion that Alchemy equipment can be found most commonly in Ayelid ruins?

You start being able to buy Expert alchemy tools around level 17-20. Master tools start appearing as random loot a level or two afterwards.
