While anti-social is a bit of a stretch, smokers are without doubt junkies and certainly have poor impulse control when it comes to smoking.

they're all feeling that pang right about now, I can almost hear the neurons firing.
Aanyway, what I can't work out with this movie is how Bryan Singer who normally is very good with casting and character, managed to give us the worst Lois Lane yet. She was really and truly irredeemably rubbish. She tries to ask hard hitting questions in a stupid shuttle launch fer crissakes.
The other thing is about the only time 'the new guy' gets to seem like superman is after the plane catch when he delivers his jockular little speech. The rest of the movie he just broods and lifts shit. This flick was crying out for some comic book dialogue. Singer's realist formula for comic book movies failed him big time on this one.
and another thing; they did this really silly colour grading trick where there's no real blue in the picture, everything is turquoise. Except for Superman of course (and I just know someone said "Make him the only true blue thing in the movie"). Distracting and fatiguing to watch.
