Heres hoping the final isnt similar to the FA cup final last year which was one of the worst games I have seen.
My prediction is that the two teams will split the glory, with one taking the premiership and one taking the CL.

one could argue that the Chelsea's "offside" goal (the Essien shot that wasn't given)
To be fair (and fuck you, Andy Gray) the keeper's view was quite clearly being blocked.

Fuck off Stoke City with your attempts to fob us off with below minimum allocation. Stuck desperately trying to find somewhere with Sky in Wales that isn't busy splurting its load over an utterly inconsequential match between Arsenal and Everton instead of something which actually matters. Don't know why though, because I can't see us winning and Saints will almost certainly get something out of their game against Sheff Utd.

Got my tickets to Wembley for next weekend's Trophy final :D I'm horrendously excited.

You're havin' a laugh aren't you. Negativity emanating from in-laws house (in Wales!) will have put the kibosh on that already!!

I've got last week my ticket for IIHF final, here in Quebec City. Hopefully it's gonna be an awesome game, like Canada-Russia. Or something.

Well commiserations to Bournemouth and Gillingham fans (I have one very good friend who will be devastated but will undoubtedly be out of his face by now).
So quinch - Doncaster lost out too and looks like I'll be waving at you - or not - from the other end of the pitch. :)
Championship day tomorrow - good luck to those involved.

Oh God! I bet you're pleased you have drawn such utter shite ;)
I have been readying myself for the playoffs since that horror show at Millwall last week. What an absolute nightmare the final few weeks have been. It's been a slow torture in gradually realizing that they have totally lost ALL form. Leeds will hammer them and I think we'll struggle next season to stay in this league :(
Oh btw, I would have docked more points off Leeds for appealing ;)
nickie on 3/5/2008 at 20:08
Right - gloves off mate!!!! Points - yes dock points - fine, but twice? Amounting to 25 points in all. For doing what they were told to do? Bollocks! And yet I have to say they probably have the same opinion of Ken Bates as I do. And it was totally ridiculous to have an appeal hearing then as well. But water under the bridge now. :)
Anyway - don't be coy - you know you're in OK form whereas Leeds are totally struggling. I mean, to let Gillingham get a goal in the first place. Love football, think it's a wonderful game but must confess to not being a lifelong supporter of anywhere.
So - I'll still talk to you when you walk all over us. :cheeky:

Well done to Cheltenham (my home town) for dodging the bullet too!
