It's one of those times when my refusal to have Sky is something I regret. Still, I'll listen.
And also for boxing. Did anyone see it by the way, a good win for Calzaghe and keeps his unbroken record 45 wins out of 45.

Yeah, I watched it but almost fell asleep from boredom (and the fact it was 0300). Hopkins had no interest at all in fighting after the knockdown, just clinching after maybe throwing a punch, and I'm very glad he was ruled to have lost. Calzaghe at least went for it.
I can't believe Ronaldo missed the penalty so badly. It was JUST ABOUT a penalty, he made the most of what was probably a foul inside the box. Apart from that man Utd haven't looked anywhere near scoring. Barca have been playing well in periods but can't seem to get through the defence. I might amend my draw prediction to 0-0

Ha ha! You've made my day! Haven't quite got around to listening yet. Ronaldo missing a penalty - fantastic - will turn sound on immediately. Notwithstanding my enormous pleasure in that - I obviously want an English team to win.
Good grief - would someone please strangle Alan Green!

I kind of think Chelsea deserved the draw
They definitely didn't. They did practically nothing all night, and we could (should) have scored more. Torres alone could have had a hat-trick, and might have done, had he not been kicked off the park with the blessing of the referee. The irony that Chelsea scored in injury time that was only 4 minutes long because of that cheating cunt Drogba continually feigning injury particularly sticks in the throat.
And Chelsea really do take snidey shithouse tactics to a new level. Drogba gave a masterclass in throwing himself to the ground, and Terry should have been booked three times before he was finally shown the yellow card. As for his kick into Torres' stomach as he lay prone on the ground... despicable. I hope we tear them a new one next week. So long as we get a better referee than this clueless prick, we might well do them there.

A masterclass eh? maybe he's been (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z78OJDSZ2Ms) studying. I'm not saying Drogba isn't as bad but I have to ask if you actually realise you're being completely one-eyed or if it is doublethink!

That's not a dive; Carrick's studs go into the side of Torres' calf. You can see it better from the other angle, which is mysteriously missing from YouTube.
I'm biased, but I try to be as impartial about my own team as possible. If you were going to say Graeme Souness was a dirty player, or that Robbie Fowler wound oponents up, I'd agree. But we don't have any divers.

Is there or has there ever been a more loathsome club team in the world than this current Chelsea outfit?

For cumulative lifetime achievement, Slur Alex's successive Man U sides over the past two decades must run them close. But as a one-off project? It's hard to see how anyone could be more twattish than a team containing Mongo, Fwank, Bollock, Cashley, The Window-Licking Jamook, Lord Percy and all those other mercenaries.

SD, if you say that Torres isn't a diver then I must assume you haven't watched any Primera Liga matches during the last four or five years.
Almost any player, when given the chance to do it, will dive. Some will do it more often than others (like Ronaldo), but they all dive. Why would I believe that, for some miraculous reason, Liverpool just happen to get together the only honest players in football today? Especially when managed by someone like Benítez?

So the title race is still on. Admittidly I only caught the highlights on MOTD but it seemed that Chelsea played a lot more football than on Tuesday night. Two points:
What the hell was going on in that match with regards to Ballack and Drogba and then at the end with the Man Utd reserves?
Also does anyone else worry for Man Utd who seem to be slowing at the crucial time?
