Then they need to raise their standards.
Much as I'd like to make lulz of this because SD is SD I agree with him, this was frikking ridiculous.
And scousers being scousers that poor fan...

If every referee who misapplied the rules was preventing from officiating again we'd have about one left.
It's a red card offence for a player to swear on the pitch (seriously)

Jenson Button is first back-to-back British F1 champion. Do I feel sorry that Mark Webber's win is overshadowed? Not a lot.

Dude, are you seriously telling me this guy is going to be safe in any of the bars in Liverpool on the night after this happened?
Shut up.

That was a great race. Button took all sorts of risks and made sure he'd score enough points to clinch it. Even if Barrichello hadn't had that puncture Button had done enough. At the start of the year he made the most of having the best car by winning so many races, while his rivals were fighting amongst themselves or not being quick enough, and even when things were going badly he still scored points.
It was good that the BBC presenters were in the Brawn GP garage. With all the technology in F1 it's easy to forget the emotion that's involved, especially when the constructors/drivers champions looked like they were out of a job at the start of the year.

That was a great drive from JB with some monster overtaking manoeuvres. Totally deserving WDC, love it!

I actually planned on getting a "Football Sucks" t-shirt before I came to London, but everyone convinced me that this was a really bad idea because there were people who would actually attempt to physically harm me for wearing it (ditto with team-specific "sucks" t-shirts). Which is absolutely bananas to me and hard to believe (I mean, Britain has a history of public dissent, doesn't it?), but considering it would have been kind of asinine in the first place I relented.

So it was hard for you to believe that intentionally aggravating some of our idiots would be fine, especially knowing the type of drinking that goes on here?

Hey TTLG, on my first day in England I got beaten up, I have no idea why! Yes, I was wearing my "West Ham sucks" shirt in east London, what of it?
