I've never had much faith in lap times from testing because there are so many variables (race conditions?, reliability testing?, performance? weather conditions etc).
Regarding the new regulations I think it's good that the FIA have finally realised that instead simply putting drivers out of position (as always happened to Raikkonen when he was at McLaren), they should focus on making it possible for one car to follow another without getting chronic understeer.
I do think they should consider how the cars look when setting regulations (especially when it comes to the wings) since gorky-looking F1 cars probably won't attract too many new fans, but at least the return of slicks makes the cars look like they are meant for grownups.

C'mon Jose and Inter!
Although you wouldn't know there was a match on tonight had you gone to the BBC website which is currently full of David Beckham nonsense.

I won't be watching tonight's matches, but I'll be rooting for Inter. There's no way I can ever support a team whom Ronaldo plays for.
I'm still laughing after last evening, and whole-heartedly thanking Bayern for what they did in this round. That's the kind of stuff that will keep us making jokes for at least the next ten years :cheeky:

So after Liverpool battered United 4-1 at Old Trafford, do we think the title race is open again? Or is it nothing more than a blip for The Best Team In The World™ - albeit the funniest blip ever! :D

Blip or not, this has just made my day, possibly even my week. :)

Definitely buying the DVD of this if they ever make one. I've set an alarm so I don't miss the highlights tonight. I want to see Rooney's face - if you know what I mean.
