Did anyone else watch the final of wimbeldon?
I don't often watch tennis and I'm not particularly a fan, but lord that was an absurd match. I only started watching after the 3rd set and it nearly took up half my day. I kind of feel like I don't have to watch another one since this was pretty much all the tennis I'll ever need to see. It was probably about the best match ever and it was long as hell but fantastic. Were not likely to see another one until next year when the same two probably go a it again.
I did, it was really nice to see Nadal win one finally - he really has pulled up his grass game considerably. Federer took defeat well, as he should considering he won the last five in a row. He'll be back I'm sure.

Oh Hell Yes!
Nice pictures, especially the to McLaren drivers not colliding.
And the girl in the first picture seems to be doing the YMCA dance

I think it was probably the best game of tennis ever played. Absolutely gripping stuff.

Well the (
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/7671321.stm) Stanford 20/20 Cricket match is underway. It's attracted a lot of criticism for being purely money based or "being 20/20 ", etc
The West indies are smashing the hell out of England, bad luck guys gotta stick with those endorsements for your money. Halfway through the England innings someone with a bugle started playing the last post :D
"Saint" Harry Redknap seems to have turned Tottenham around, after they came back from 3-1 and 4-2 down against Arsenal to draw 4-4 in injury time in one of the most watchable football games ever. And also amazing was how Liverpool managed to not score more than 1 against Spurs today and so lost.

Oops how embarrassing- 10 wicket defeat. I shall now concentrate my enthusiasm on cycling.
And I don't expect many of you will be watching the Grand Prix this afternoon. Any bets on the outcome? Or who's going to push Hamilton off the track? Not that I'm cynical or anything.

If Hamilton plays it safe he still should win the championship. His car should be good enough to cruise to 5th place but there are no certianties.
For pushing him off the track my bet lies with Alonso though.

How fortunate that the championship has gone down to last race. If, for example, Hamilton had scored just a few more points in one or two races, he might have sewn it up in Japan or China, which wouldn't have been ideal because they were on a 6 in the morning.
;)

Formula 1, wtf?!?

Well no doubt Ferrari will find something to complain about, some reason to deduct points, and it may well be taken away but at least for a few minutes, Hamilton is world champion. What was up with Glock's car I've no idea, if anything (apparently wrong tyres and nothing to do with being German at all or Mercedes or anything).
So it's goodbye to Coulthard and I did feel sorry for him. Last Grand Prix and he barely made it through the first corner.
And an even better result - goodbye ITV. Though who'll commentate for the BBC, I've no idea. But at least there'll be no more manky adverts in the middle of it all.
And I admit to this being the first one I've watched from start to finish, even resisting the temptation to walk out on the last lap.

Glock and Trulli were the only ones who didn't pit for wet tyres when it started to rain, whic was fine until it started to rain heavily on the final lap where they both lost around 16 seconds. Of course only Glock mattered because the Trulli Train had been and gone.
Lewis likes to cut it fine, doesn't he?
