This Murray game is hilarious! It's just so unfair - the crowd are seriously boshing Gasquet's chances. If it weren't so funny it'd be wrong. But Murry is a screwfaced nut-knockett. Such an irritating little twit. And a scot to boot. Bah!

But Blimey O'Reilly O'Crikey O'Trousers. The little **** went and brought himself back from 2 sets down to win. Regardless of fairness or otherwise, I don't give a **** if he wins jack shit else, I was entertained. And as I said, I haven't been so entertained since Borg/McEnroe final of '70something. (Think it was 72 or 73) Never mind the anything else, I saw some glorious shots, I saw some guts and I saw something from Murray that I haven't seen before - might be *****. Determination might be the word - but for once I didn't feel let down. And yes, it was quite amusing and yes he might be irritating but I enjoyed that!! The most amusing thing I think is that he is no longer wearing that obnoxious cap having been told it's immature to wear it.

He needs a shower, a shave and a haircut, and that's before he gets on court. But yes, he was pretty fancy today. I just wish he wouldn't mug so much when he wins a point. It's Wimbledon, not some homo-erotic American sports fantasy fist pump shut up Murray and just play.

Grand Prix!
That was a good race. Who saw it?
And I wonder if they can get Donignton ready in time? Brands Hatch couldn't do it and they ended up doing a deal with Silverstone allowing them to keep the race.

Yes, I saw it (from the comfort of my sofa, mind you).
And yes, brilliant race, and a brilliant bit of work from Hamilton on keeping the McLaren glued to the track, especially when tucked up behind Kovalainen with just about zero visibility for several laps.
WTF Massa was doing is anyone's guess, although giving him the benefit of the doubt I'm guessing he had some sort of setup problem that made the Ferrari extremely twitchy under any application of throttle at all.
There is still talk of the race not moving to Donnington if the two tracks came to some sort of financial agreement between themselves, but as Bernie Ecclestone said, it's now up to them to argue amongst themselves as the contract has been signed from his point of view.

I also think Massa had a setup issue, as he doesn't normally have such problems in wet conditions.
Regarding Silverstone, Bernie always goes on about the facilities, but I think he's just being a nancy. It's a racing track, not the bloody Ritz.

Facilities = money, though. Just one of those things.

They'll have a fair bit to do. Don't know much about the facilities, but access is a mare. They'd need to dual-carriageway the A453 at the very least, but they'd probably need put in a connecting road to the A50 as well - at the moment the southwest and west midlands all comes up the M42/A42, but the entire North and the South East all come from the same direction. It would be easier to just fly in and walk the mile or so than go by car. Don't think that the ridiculously-long-in-the-pipeline plans for a train station for the airport will be done on time either, and even if it was, it wouldn't help that much because its the wrong side of the main bottleneck.
Needs loads more paved parking, too.

Did anyone else watch the final of wimbeldon?
I don't often watch tennis and I'm not particularly a fan, but lord that was an absurd match. I only started watching after the 3rd set and it nearly took up half my day. I kind of feel like I don't have to watch another one since this was pretty much all the tennis I'll ever need to see. It was probably about the best match ever and it was long as hell but fantastic. Were not likely to see another one until next year when the same two probably go a it again.

The British Grand Prix was fantastic. Great to see Barrichello on the podium again. About time!
Mark Webber... Screwed up bad at the start. Rather than trying to keep Kimi Räikkönen at bay he should have stayed right and kept Hamilton back. He probably then would have been in better shape for the corner and may have well retained his 2nd place. But hey, he dropped it just a few hundred yards up the road so, whatever.
Gutted for Coulthard. I think I heard on his Interview with Louise (ITV person) that he took responsibility for the accident. Not sure what caused the accident but still dissapointing for him on his last British Grand Prix.
I wanted it to rain more. See if Barrichello perhaps could have got Hamilton and Heidfeld, he was taking some time out of them and even though a fueling problem ment he would still had to pit, I think he could have got it right. Still, nice to see Honda somewhere again (although the rain was to thank for that).
Brief comment on the Ferraris', what was with Massa? The car wasn't faulty, and I don't believe that was lack of talent. Fed up after the first spin perhaps?
Donnington from 2010. Not so bad, I find Donnington to be a more entertaining track (Old Hairpin is always great viewing). The thing I don't want is Donnington recking it for the Touring Car fans by completely closing of the Paddock and pit areas to the public. Anyway, At least we still have a Grand Prix, rather that the slot been awarded to some other country.
