Is it a good idea to have a website not on the TTLG network to view the status of the homepage?
If we have this page, people will not start treads asking if TTLG is down and this is an easy way to see the status of the TTLG website and their daughter sites . I don`t mind these treads but I think it will be handy to have this.

How can they start threads asking if TTLG is down, when TTLG is down? ;)
And anyway, you know when TTLG and the daughter sites are down because they turn into 404's. :p

Well, I didn`t mean threads here at TTLG, what I meant was treads at Eidos and Thief Underground Forums.
Usually I don`t get a 404 when the website is off. The page never loads and I have a white screen with the word ready below in the status bar. (IE5.5)
