...has occurred on this computer, for no apparent reason. All except the last FM I was playing (Overlord's Ending), in which they all function as normal.
In every other Thief FM I load, as well as original Thief 2, the AI are frozen. They still have audio but no movement at all.
Does anyone have any idea what has happened here, and how I can rectify the situation?

Hmm, actually just tried two missions (A Night in Rocksbourg - Ink & Dust, and Lady Rowena's last mission, Home Sweet Home) in which the AI are still working.
So why have they frozen in all the others I've tried?

"A Job Well Done" is also working.
"Rose Cottage" is dead, as are lots of others I've tried. All seems pretty random.

What FM loader did you use? Darkloader? It alters files of the game, so that might be a case.

I would suggest a reinstall of the game, it sounds like one of the original script modules has been deleted or corrupted.

Yes I used Darkloader, 'cos I haven't been able to get the other loaders to work with this Thief installation on this machine.
As Yandros suggests, a full reinstall might be best, maybe using T2Fix.

You know, you can backup Thief 2 installations? As they are portable. Maybe do that in the future, so you don´t need re-installing(in this case it makes of course sense).
Also, maybe give AngelLoader a try. If you can´t get it to run, ask the creator(Fen), maybe he can help.

Yes, you need to solve your loader issue. Darkloader simply doesn't work well with some missions, and won't even recognize some newer ones which are released as .7z files. If you are keen on the Darkloader look and feel, NewDarkLoader might be the right one for you. But you also have AngelLoader and FMSel, so pick one and get it working, ask for help here or in the FM Forum and folks will assist.
