I also ended up without lockpicks -- probably because I did Ctrl+Alt+ etc. I'd happily finish the campaign if I had a save file for the beginning of the mission. I just can't face playing through the whole campaign again just to get the lockpicks. Does anyone have one?

Same here. On normal I haven't had lockpicks since mission 3 and assumed it was part of a
cunning plan Inline Image:
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif as it didn't hinder progress until near the end of Mission 6. However ... reluctantly I had abandoned mission 4 after understanding the task
to limit water flow at intervals down each shaft. Being a little bit colour blind I couldn't distinguish between blue and purple (?) so I had to ctrl+alt+shift+end to move on. I completed mission 5 with most of the loot and as I kept recovering “lost bags” I assumed lockpicks would turn up at some time. In the final mission I've got 60% loot and
all runes apart from the water triangle which I understand is in that chest in the “old lighthouse”. I've tried the catacombs key on the lock, hitting it with the crystal sword and firing 8 fire arrows at it. As expected it remains intact but as Brethren points out in the thread you (eventually) inherit what you had from the previous mission so I think that's as far as I can go ... But it's a very very good game. Throughout I've admired the handiwork and detail and several times said “
Look at those different palm trees!” or similar remark. Reading through the credits and all those responsible, great stuff.
Congratulations nicked for using the objects etc so very well to create an
excellent game.

Are there some bonus objectives in this mission? If yes how many and which ones? I´d appreciate some hints. I´m usually good with bonus objectives but here apparently I missed all of them:o
Are there any bonus objectives in any of the other mission of this campaign? (Except the one with the 10 sacks of gold)
Thank you! :)

Yes. You most likely do not refer to the
optional objectives (Find all pages of Sturmdrang's diary, find some rare plans for an alchemist, find Millets hidden loot). There is one hidden bonus objective, however, and this is to find
the dead body of Nathaniel, a pirate of Sturmdrang's crew, who was sentenced to death. A book in the library of a former mission, where you locked Grent in a library, mentioned this incident. To find the place, you have to
get over a wall of the damaged buildings near the old lighthouse (not the ancient lighthouse!). To get there, you can
climb on the top of the walls of the round structure, then run towards the wall where you can see a palm tree, and make a running jump towards that wall. Behind the wall, you will find Nathaniel's remains, and the bonus objective should tick off.

In "Forgotten Depths", you can find
Strumdrang's ceremonial bracelet. To do so, you have to open a grate or portcullis with the number three by using the appropriate lever. However, this also
opens another grate, on the opposite side of grate 3, and you get access to a short and partially flooded passage. At the end, there is a round room with two crates or chests floating in the water, and if you dive down, you can find the bracelet, fulfilling the bonus objective.
In mission three, "Tunnel rats", the player may gain entrance to
a weapons storage room, close to where the mission starts, on the outside of the fortress. You need a key to get in there. The key is located in
the War room, a round room with two levels, looking like a library. You can find the key on or near a table on the upper level; it should be named "Iron key" in English or "Eiserner Schlüssel" in German. Go to the locked door
on the outer part of the fortress near the elevator where you came in, open the door, and loot the chests inside and close to the door. The objective should tick off, then.

The final bridge puzzle should work like this:
You solve the riddle with the statues and the Pillar of Dawn. The pillar raises, hopefully with Garrett on top of it. He can jump through the opening in the wall there, and use a lever there. This is not a lever that moves the last bridge. Instead, this lever opens a "door" in a side passage of the one where one water elemental patrols and a dead man with a note lies near a corner. Behind the newly opened door there is a second room with pillars that lower when Garrett steps on them, and the wrong pillars have spikes inside that kill the unwary master thief. Behind this room, there should be one of the two levers that move the last bridge.
On the other side of the lake with the pillars, you find a hall with four water elements inside. Once you have run past them, you reach a room with coloured floor tiles. Two stone tiles (not coloured) in the entrance have inscriptions on them, telling you how to solve this puzzle. Once you have done that, the door at the end of the room opens. Inside, there is a lever near the door, but this one is not the second one that moves the bridge. Instead, this lever opens the door again if it shuts itself after some time.
You have to run and/or jump over retracting stairs in the walls of the room, then you reach a higher level with some stone bridges that you have to cross while they retract into the walls. And behind all this, you finally find the second lever. Once you use it, the last bridge over the lake should rise. I think there is a window here that allows you to see the rising bridge.
AFAIK, it is not important whether you solve the "Pillar of Dawn" part first, or the one with the coloured floor tiles.
Did you do all this? If not, then you should now know what you still have to do.
If, however, you did all this, then there's a bug here. I played "Sturmdrang Peak" several times, and the only thing concerning the last bridge that sometimes did not work exactly as it (probably) should was the part with the "Pillar of Dawn". Sometimes, the pillar went up when I hit the right statues, but the pillar did not go down again when I hit another statue. On another playthorugh, the pillar had another "malfunction", but stepping on the "reset button" there and doing this puzzle all over again solved the problem.
Concerning the pillar oddities, I tried another playthrough with newer versions of the scripts (NNVscript.osm, Nscript.osm, Ntnhscript.osm) in the mission, but there still was some slight problem with the pillar. However, this also was not serious. If everything else fails, you could try to re-play the whole last mission with updated scripts, but I doubt it would change anything.

I have come to a temple entrance
underwater where you have to raise the sun, moon and stars... I have done all three levers and the pedestals have come up, but nothing happens, i can't proceed. What now?
Had similar problem, door was shut and resetting moon/star/sun levers wouldn't help. Instead of replaying the whole level I placed Garrent in front of underwater doors and opened the mission in editor. Then, after selecting the doors, I just deleted it and saved the savegame.
There seems to be more problems in this campaign as I had also touble with color water levels in Forgotten Depths, but restarting the level was OK as this puzzle is right at the beginning.

If you're at the end where you put the crystal swords in the receptacles DON'T save/quicksave. I don't know if that was the issue with me but the screen didn't fade to black and I had to watch the rest of the mission on YT. (I put the last sword in and was wondering what to do next and idiotically jumped down, after reloading I couldn't do anything with the sword and the transition didn't start.)

Did you quicksave whilst a script was playing? Important lesson to learn with Thief is that you never save during a conversation or a scripted event, you must wait till it safe to do so.
Using Thief Buddy, which is also an optional extra with Angel-loader, is a godsend if you accidentally do quicksave at the wrong time.
