How come I don't get any health when I smoke?
How come nobody else smokes? They just carry the smokes around.
The toilets in the game are excellent, but I don't see any paper and frankly, I can think of a way to make some of them more disgusting. I mean, don't the people in the game look like the type that don't flush?

Well, If you smoked a whole packet in a few seconds, I'm sure you wouldn't feel good afterwards... now imagine what would happen if you smoked something like 400 cigarrettes in about 30 seconds? :p

And drinking about 40 bottles would bring you from deadly injured to perfect well?

I suppose that after you drink 40 bottles of vodka in a matter of seconds, a Rumbler could use you as a basketball and you wouldn't even notice it :p
Apparently SS2 has a subliminal message, implying that drinking is good for you... maybe it was secretly sponsored by some vodka brand...

If the smokes don't give you health, does their glow or smell make you any more visible to the AI? Seems like they should have some purpose and interaction with the game aside from making you cough.
Finally got round to trying the zyme. Wow. What a buzz. Long lasting and I think a little more intense than the liquor or forties, but then I took four vials and was having trouble focusing on anything. Can I drink or zyme myself to death? Guess I'll find out when I get back to that convenience store.

For all that might not know:
Zyme is a drug (THE drug) from Deus Ex, where drinking heals you, but blurs your vision, and makes you feel like you're moving around uncontrollable. The more drunk, the worse it is. You gotta love it =)

I actually got sick when I used the Zyme. That is 8 bottles collected over time in a row, in Everett's mansion in Paris.
And that wasn't in the game, I actually did get sick watching the screen shaking around and blurry vision, I quit playing for a while.
Anyhow, orange juice & chips are the perfect dinner onboard any FTL in 2114.. most noteably the UNN Von Braun & Rickenbacker piggyback :D

I have no idea why I started this thread here. Must have OD'd on Zyme or forties at the time. My apologies to anyone confused by the entire discussion, although it sounds like everybody knows what I'm talking about anyway.
