Well, a question really...
Can I enchant a spoon? I was going to try myself, but my puter is currently AWOL and won't run morrowind right now. thanks ahead of time
oh yea, on a totaly unrelated subject... someone mentionted something about a hermit on some island somewhere that collects forks. This man is my arch enemy and any info leading to his demise would be grately apprisheated{sp?}
thanks for your time

The argonian hermit lives in a small hut on the most nw island of the continent... on the map that came with the box, the house is shown.
oh, and you can't enchant spoons, but for some reason, the hermit has an enchanted fork.
actually, the fork is for a quest that is given to you by one of the bad daedra. I think it was the daedra of madness
I know absolutely nothing about this but... could you change some properties of spoons in the editor to make them enchantable?

You can get quests from bad daedra? You got a quest from Sheogorad (sp?)? Where did you talk to him, Ald Daedroth? I believe that's his most important shrine, or maybe not... So far I've only been able to get quests from Azura and Boethsomething (underwater temple). As for enchanting spoons, the only way you could do that I think is by making it into a weapon.... hehehe, I can just imagine someone swinging a spoon at a cliff racer. Maybe you could make a script so it would remove meat from hounds and rats when it strikes them...

You could make a spoon echantable and possibly a weapon but you need to make a mesh or some thing so when you equip it you are actully holding a spoon or fork.

Eater. In a shrine in one of vivec's underworks (not foreign quarter... and I don't think the one in st. olms) talk to the statue... it will give you a quest.
The quest is to get this enchanted fork from this hermit and use the fork to kill some kind of bull netch... the fork has a constant effect of drain 200 magicka, so It's not a very good weapon
I got Malacath to give me a quest .. But I dont actually want to do it :P cant remember where it was offhand though now could have been the un-named one to the left of Ahemusa camp .. too many shrines to remember though :(

I've gotten two "bad daedra" quests so far...
1) Molag Bal, in the ruins starting w/ a Y just W of Tel Aruhn: Kill a certain daedra in a cave. Btw, that cave is a pain to find; it's on the N slopes of Red Mountain, outside the fence, on a tiny plain on a slope, E of Kogruhn (not directly east though... just east of it, somewhere)
2) Mehrunes Dagon, in the ruins starting w/ a Y waaaaaaay west of Ald Velothi: Recover Mehrunes' Razor from a tomb N of Molag Mar; the dagger's in a skeleton on an altar, and is named something like "old rusty dagger"

thanks for the feed back guys:thumb:
I know nothing about the editor but if you could change a spoon into a weapon, can you change it into a amulet or a ring? Thus bypassing the mesh problem?
