Okay - is it possible to do a non-lethal takedown? I've been trying for almost half an hour to knock out a Seattle thug by climbing out and air vent and getting him from behind with the stun prod, but he doesn't go down! The manual says you can use the prod for a non-lethal takedown, and I've tried targetting various parts of his anatomy, but it doesn't seem to work. It's bloody annoying because I'm trying to infiltrate various areas without being seen, and I end up with half the building gunning for me.
I know you usually had to get someone in the small of the back in DX, but here no matter where I aim the thing just swings, and mildly shocks the target. Then I have to lower my standards to a bloodbath, or die ungracefully.

Hold down the fire button to continue the shock. It shouldn't take long for him to collapse into dreamland.

The best way to to non-lethal is to max out strength aug at the beginning and whack away with the baton-one or sometimes two hit KO. The second best way is the boltcaster. Screw the prod.

The prod uses so much ammo and is so noisy that it's not an effective weapon under any circumstance. You use that for more than about a second, everyone will hear you and shoot you promptly.:wot:
