I talked to Hleren Ramoran about him sponsoring me to become House Father and he told me to go to Vivec and talk to Nalvilie Saren (the big whore) and to convince her to come back to see him. So I talked to her and she said she didn't want to go back to him. So I went back to Ramoran and it made me tell him that Nalvilie was dead. I didn't even kill her. But he said that he'd sponsor me anyway. But I talked to the guy that advances me and he says that I still need support from Ramoran! I don't know what to do, I already got support from the other Redoran guys and started my stronghold. This sucks. Any help?

ya i had the same problem. I'm gonna try waiting to let my stronghold construction get underway. I'm also gonna try going back and talking to the Saren whore and if all else fails, actually kill her. I'll update ya if any of those work but i could really use some help as well.

I'm house father now, all i did was get the support of all the councilors besides Venym. Then you just sleep for a week or so and your journal gets updated then you go talk to Galsa Gindu about your stronghold. You have to go there, check with the orc to make sure its on schedule, then come back and talk to her again. Then you have to get guards for your stronghold. You go to Percius Mercius and rescue some chick from Hlaalu Prison for him and he gets you some guards. Then you go back, talk to Gindu, then talk to Sarethi or whoever it was that sponsored you and he'll tell u "good work, u deserve House Father." Done. Now i gotta work on the councilor part.

Just in case this is still an issue, thisisntgreg, Athyn gives that response unless you've gotten both Morvayn's and Ramoran's support, and have a 1st-stage stronghold built.
