I've posted it somewhere before, but (
www.it-he.org) has some pretty funny abuses of Arx Fatalis (and other games... Deus Ex, System Shock, the Ultima series...) - but don't look until you've finished the game, Fig!

I know the site for their HILARIOUS DX and Thief stuff....had no idea about the Arx entries though.

They're really nowhere near as subversive as the Deus Ex stuff (did you read the thing about the vacuum cleaner? insane), or the amazingly twisted Ultima 9 exploits.* But Arx struck me as being pretty much unbreakable (I did try), and the Arx anti-walkthrough still manages to break the sequence of events slightly.
* Actually, I've just remembered... when I got to the end of Ultima 9, something happened, I can't remember what, but I was somehow dumped into the wrong place and couldn't get to the path I was supposed to take to the final set-piece. I had to dick around finding an alternate route, and eventually fell through a crack in the world and ended up in the right place (it didn't look like an intentional shortcut), having omitted a large section of tedious cave combat. I wasn't even trying to subvert the game, it just broke under its own weight.
Anyway... are you throwing fire yet?

Yeah, the Thief and DX articles there are so funny. I have literally made my face sore laughing at that site. No fireballs......yet. Arx is starting to get a bit "unstable", and I am not patient enough w/it at this point to deal with it. I need to find out what is causing this.
