I'm in the room where you place the 5 Akbaa stones. I have tried everything but still can't get the door to unlock. I read somewhere that your to put them on the colums but I dont have colums, just squares on the floor? Do I need to so something to make them rise up from the floor?

Hi Dayrth, we have a Arx Spoilers Forum if you have any more questions and I'm sure this thread will be moved shortly. But to answer your question, all you need to do is set the 5 Akbaa stones on the squares which are located on the floor. If this isn't working than you may be experiencing a bug or you aren't in the right room. Hope this helps.

Sorry about that I didn't see the spoilers area. I reloaded an old save game and got back to this part (took 2hrs). Again the door doesn't unlock. Yes I'm in the right room. I place the 5 stones on the squares but nothing happens. :(

You gotta USE the stones on the columns, just putting them on top wont work.

Microwave Oven is correct. I didn't consider when I said place them there that I could also be meaning setting them there manually. Yes, you do need to use the Akbaa stones on the columns. Sorry about that!

It seems strange that this method wasn't used in the Crypt puzzle though -
the one where you had to place the house symbols on the columns.
You'll find three of them in the temple of Akbaa, and two in the Ylside bunker itself. They look like red gems inset into a upwards curving base or something... kinda hard to describe, but they should be called "akbaa's stone" or similar.
