Stuck in Lost Souls (level 4) of Crypt... - by Shodin

I'm stuck in the Labyrinth of Lost Souls right now so I read thru the walkthru for this level and don't see where I'm going wrong. Also, none of the creatures that are in the walkthru are showing up down there either. Just a bunch of mummies.
Here's the first part:
Here you have to fight 3 invisible ghosts where you can see the weapon only: One wields a sword, one an axe and one a hammer.
None of those guys have shown up.
Second part:
Outside room 3 you can hear a woman crying for help, but it turns out to be a trap by a vampyress only.
That never happened either.
Where I'm at in the Labyrinth of the Lost Souls:
Next is the Labyrinth of the Lost Souls (10), which requires a lot of lever switching (see map for details) to get to the statue room (5).
I've done all of the lever pulling that should get me to room 5, but I'm still not able to get in there. When I pull lever 3 the only thing that moves is the gate to let me get to lever 6, then lever 3 resets itself. When I come back down the hall from lever 6 to the dead end I can't get thru. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Shodin

Once you pull the lever passed the spikes you have to go back to the previous room's lever to reset the correct path. Once done, you will come to another lever shortly before another locked portcullis. Use this and backtrack again using 2 more levers which will open this door. Then get ready. Hope this helps.

Hmm, I tried doing that, but nothing was happening. It was just shutting the gate and not opening the hallway. However when I went back and did it again, it worked. Go figure.

HA! I just came here for this EXACT problem.
Also, one of the levers opens a short corridor with an, apparently, trapped switchplate on the ground. But it doesn't work. If I stand on it [or drop something on it, or try and untrap it], it does nothing. Only when I step off it does it depress for a few moments, then return to normal state. Since I don't get damaged, I take it it's not depressing enough to switch whatever it's supposed to switch... What gives?

I actually left a bone on that pressure plate. As far as the
ghosts are concerned
, I didn't encounter them until after the maze of souls.
