Try typing in "tcl" on the console. This turns off collision detection so that you and any creatures/NPCs in the vicinity can walk right through objects (including the floor) This should unstick your friend, but be warned-it will play havoc with your game if left turned off, so use the same command to turn it on again as soon as she's sorted out.

Failing that, typing "fixme" into the console will move you out of your predicament.

I thought fixme was used for when you, the PC, got stuck? It doesn't work on NPC's, does it?

*nods to Jordana* Yeah, all fixme does is randomly teleport the player a little way from where they are. Technically it's more complex than that, as it checks the coords before it teleports you there, etc., but that's basically it.

Ah yes. That'll teach me to actually READ the post before blindly answering like a fool ;)

Thank God escort missions are rare :laff:
NPC's that are in need of escorting rarely are good warriors so you need to watch your back and that of the NPC, the NPC's also seem to have no map programing (they do not seem to know that there is a tree in the way) and the programmers wanted to show that the NPC doesn't blindly follow you which results in: bugs with bridges, falling of cliffs into the water, bumping into houses, trees, rocks and sometimes animals and other NPC's
