Is there any way to get rid of the people in my shiny new Hlaalu stronghold? Mine's just started being built, and I want to get rid of those SOBs that apparently report me for taking my own stuff and the merchants taking up all that room. So can I kill them? Taunt/kill or aggravate or some way? Because if I want someone in my stronghold I'll get Mudcrab (but not creeper, he's like several thou lbs overencumbered by now). So yet again I ask CAN I KILL NPCS IN MY SOON-TO-BE-STRONGHOLD (on Odai Plateau Hlaalu if it changes anything)?

Your stronghold people are, as far as I know, no different than normal people and I'm not aware of any quests with any of them. If you feel the need, I don't think anyone will be able to stop you. Anyone who gives you a chance to persuade them can, of course, be taunted. Even if someone doesn't have the persuation option they can probably be enraged into attacking. Either way, as long as they attack first, you will be okay legally. Morally, though, murder is still wrong:tsktsk:.
However, for a non-violent alternative, you might try some of the Stronghold/House plugins floating around on-line. There are several nice Balmora houses (A Nice Place To Stay is my favorite), which will give you everything your stronghold has and more. I hear some of the houses even come with a high-limit merchant set off in an extra room so you have someone to sell those nice items to near at hand.

You can slaughter them, even without provacation, no-one reports anything. I've been avoiding it because my char doesnt work that way, and its nice to have some people looking after things while your away. Also they don't report the 'theft' of your stronghold merchandise. But at times when they block the stairs I've been real tempted to get rid of them.

Hrm... if you don't feel like killing them, you can always use a 'Command Humanoid' spell and lead them all into the watchtower near the compound's entrance. (well, I think it's a watchtower... it appears when the place is at stage 2 or 3)

Umm... if they are in the way of the stairway simply type "ra" (reset actors) in the consol.

He's on XBox, remember? But command humanoid would definitely be the way I'd go. I try not to use the console too much (except to turn off textures so I just see wireframes. I love it like that...) so when I discovered Command Humanoid, I was using it everywhere. Very cool if you ask me.

very cool, but also very hard to accomplish also at level 100 conjuration. What enchantment do you use? (I assume your using an enchantment:cheeky:)
