Make sure you write them some (polite) email pointing it out, so they'll fix it. Much more useful than kicking it :) (or maybe check first to see if the latest version already fixes it -- presuming it's not like downloading Mozilla over a modem or anything :)

I have DSL :-P
Anyway, I downloaded KDE 3.0 RC1 and fiddles with and installed it, and ended up still having v2.2.1 :/ I found a SuSE upgrade to 2.2.2 and this fixed a lot of things.
Since v3.0 is presumed to fix even more things (there are *pages* of fix descriptions ;), I will have to wait for 3.0 and see if my problems are fixed. Unfortunately, I probably have to wait until SuSe makes RPMs, since compiling is always tricky and can end up in a quite broken system. I know what I talk about - I had to do a complete re-install over the last 4 days because my HD had a problem (which turned out a flaky cable:/ and it is strange bug with SuSE the only things working straigh out-of-the-box are their RPMs. But that it OT ;)
So, in the meanwhile [0] I can just kick the stupid software ;)
Cheers,
Tels
[0] No, I am far to busy to help and too inexperienced for the KDE project, besides there are alreay tons of bug reports, so let's wait and hope ;)
