I have a very very high-level character with high stats all around. just wondering which you think is better, enchanting clohting & armor with constand effect strength, or constat effect sanctuary. each has thier own benifits. with strength you will not only deal more damage, but will also have a higher ecumberance. with enough items enchanted with sancuary, you can basically make yourself immune to physical attacks. right now my character has several armor items enchanted with strength. which do you think is better?

Hm.. well like you said, it goes both ways. I personally have enchanted two rings, an amulet, pants and a shirt (all exquisite) with Fortify Strength. I got my strength to over 200. This was good, because I was level 80 (I think. Maybe 60 something?) and combined with my high health I could go anywhere.
Sanctuary is pretty good too. I've never used it though... Does it keep you safe from magic too? But I'd definately go for strength. It pretty much means more money because you can carry more loot and take on tougher monsters (if you can't already. If you can you can do it easier.)
It's expensive though. It'll run you about... what? 200,000 for the rings, amulet, shirt and pants? Maybe more. You can only get fortify strength 24 points onto a ring and amulet. Just make sure it's all exquisite stuff and you have an Ascended Sleeper/Golden Saint in a Grand Soul Gem. That part is important!

yeah, i also have my strength over 200. my character is level 60.
be sure when you enchand a fortify constant effect that you make the magnitude from 1-?? the keep reequipping the item until you have the maximum magnitude (it can take a while). using this method i think i had an exquisite ring that fortified my strength up to 47 points.
and for sanctuary, no, it does not protect you from any magic. it simply adds to your chance of avoiding a physical attack.
i have tried to stay away from turning my character into a 'god' but its just so much fun to see how powerful you really can make a person. but you are right, it does cost much $$$$.

I just do 24-24. It's less work, but I might try 1-whatever. I want to be the strongest I can... I'm preparing my char to be a werewolf. His strength will probably be over 400 :D

From what I've read, it sounds like you won't be able to use stuff from your inventory while you're a werewolf (to balance the advantages of the werewolf form) which could well include enchanted items.
Disclaimer: Obviously I don't know for sure what they'll do.

Yeah, you're right. No access to inventory... and there's another thing too. Just incase you want to find out yourself...
Werewolves will slowly lose health, unless they kill. They can't just kill anything though, it has to be an NPC. In the beginning you could live by killing baddies but one day...
