Street names in your town

All the road names in one end of my village are named after people from that road who were killed in battle in the first and second world wars. They probably deserve a better remembrance though, as my village is a veritable shit heap

Decimal Place.
Square Circle.

The street that I live on is named "Neat Place".

Seriously. And every single person who visits has to have some lame comment about it.

I just remembered, there's a housing development just ouside of town, and it's main route is... get this... Easy Street.

In my (http://www.stadtplan.net/brd/brandenburg/cottbus/home.html) sorrounding (click on the funny red dot): Juri-Gagarin-Straße, Karl-Marx-Straße, Karl-Liebknecht-Straße (co-founder of the communist party), Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße (dito), Erich-Weinert-Straße (communist writer), Wilhelm-Pieck-Straße (first head of state/GDR), Pestalozzistraße (Swiss inventor of the Volksschule); not to talk about lots of the early social democrats like Franz Mehring, August Bebel, Rudolf Breitscheid et al.

But what me cracks up all the time I see it: Petersilienstraße (parsley).

My favorite street name is in the harbor, where all the rich snootyt people live. It is spelled "harbour" and pronounced "haah-bor". Ug.

Anyway, the street is named "Sea Witch Lane."

I just love it.

We have a nefarious habit of digging up the most obscure saints you can find and naming streets after them...

St-Crépin.
St-Viateur.
St-Vallier.

Where I live it's mostly army guys and the people they've butchered, though.

You want strange street names? Get this, all the streets around where I live are named after NUMBERS. That's right. Like 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 5th Avenue. Or 34th, or 42nd, or 59th Street.
